STARTit

The Integrated Approach begins with a workshop conducted by Prinova consultants and your key stakeholders. This one-day session covers everything from your existing designs and systems to objectives for the new project and beyond. As part of this stage, we’ll test existing transactional documents with customers to identify their needs and behaviors and to establish measurable success criteria for the new designs.

Sample Deliverables: A report of key findings, outstanding issues, and a creative brief outlining our recommended direction, a system specifications document, as well as a detailed project plan for the remainder of the project.

DESIGNit

During this second stage, our initial focus is on content — helping determine the right content to meet the needs of your business and your customers. From this, we create initial concepts for the new design by applying proven information-design principles in new and creative ways.

After client approval of the initial design concepts, we bring the content and the design together in your composition tool, creating a functioning application using mock data. By creating prototypes in the actual composition tool, we are able to produce prototypes for various scenarios rapidly and dynamically. This rapid prototyping removes all the guesswork and allows you to see how the design can accommodate various scenarios.

REFINEit

At this third stage, we conduct one-on-one interviews with your customers to ensure the designs are meeting the success criteria defined in the STARTit phase. Once validated, we create a detailed functional specification document for development so they have all the data and business rules they need to build the complete application, and nothing is left to chance.

BUILDit

Now we extend the prototypes to a fully functional application, conducting unit testing, including building and testing output automation. With our unique web-based testing facility novatest™, you are able to test your applications in real time, right from your desktop. This feature can cut down the traditional testing cycle by as much as fifty per cent.

DEPLOYit

At this stage, we release your application into your environment. We conduct system-integration and user-acceptance testing, and transfer the application into production.

SUSTAINit

Our job is never considered completed until we are confident that you can maintain the systems. Post-implementation, we conduct detailed on-site knowledge-transfer sessions with your staff to hand over and walk through our comprehensive documentation. These sessions outline the system’s design, construction, operation and troubleshooting. Along with comprehensive warranty support, we also offer customized training courses so you can develop your own internal centers of excellence.
